It was a profound honor to perform in the Drach Caves in Mallorca, a setting whose natural beauty and history lend an unmistakable sense of gravity to any artistic endeavor. The acoustics of the caverns, shaped over centuries, created an intimate and resonant atmosphere that elevated the performance beyond a conventional venue experience. To share music within such a remarkable natural landmark surrounded by stone, water, and silence was both humbling and inspiring, underscoring the privilege of contributing, even briefly, to a place of such cultural and geological significance.

Performing at Casa Golferichs carried a particular weight because the space reflects the architectural world shaped by Antoni Gaudí and his circle. Designed by Joan Rubió i Bellver, one of Gaudí’s close collaborators, the hall embodies Modernisme’s organic forms, craftsmanship, and spiritual attention to detail. Those influences are palpable in the room’s proportions and materials, creating an environment that feels intentional rather than ornamental. Performing there for over 200 people felt like stepping into a living extension of Barcelona’s architectural heritage, where the ideas behind Gaudí’s work continue to resonate through sound, space, and shared experience.
